I visited Bocaditos Café in Batavia and had such a great experience. It’s an Argentine café with amazing empanadas—the beef, ham & cheese, and pumpkin ones were all delicious. We also tried something new from their menu, the arepas, and they were excellent. The drinks were just as impressive, especially the raspberry wheat ale. The outdoor patio is beautiful, surrounded by plants under the trees, creating a peaceful and family-friendly atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitely a hidden gem in Batavia worth visiting.

Bocaditos might be the best gem of a restaurant in Batavia! Seriously awesome food all made from scratch. The atmosphere is perfect and you always feel welcome. I've tried just about everything on their menu including all of their empanadas and not a single one has disappointed. Made fresh every time! You can even order empanadas to go that you make at home and they give you all of the instructions to make it! I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. If you haven't tried, you need to. Like today!

You can see the excitement on my face to finally get to try the empanadas everyone has been talking about. What a cute inviting atmosphere. The owners made me feel very welcome. I ended up trying 5 different kinds of empanadas. all were EXCELLENT! My favorite had to be the creamed corn. YUM! If you haven't had a chance to check out Bocaditos yet what are you waiting for?!
