Alan Pierce★★★We went to Daniels for out daughters 18th birthday. Our server was very good, the service was outstanding. It’s been a while since we’ve been to Daniels and our last experience was excellent. We ordered the 16oz ribeye and was a bit dry and not as amazing as i thought it should have been for $92. My daughter had the 8oz filet and she really liked it. We also ordered the bacon wrapped scallops which seemed over cooked and a bit rubbery, the popcorn shrimp was very good and the dungeoness crab appetizer which was also very good. D B★★★★★Upscale dining for an upscale price; wouldn't put it down as a value option, but it's a proper steakhouse. Staff were all courteous. No formal dress code, but most guests were sporting business casual. (It's still Bellevue, so some tech employees wearing athleisure clothing is expected.) Drink selection is great, and they offer a variety of quality liquors when requesting a cocktail (Monkey 47 Negroni is great, if the budget permits!) Fresh sorbet (no large ice crystals, actually hard to do for some places!) and cheesecake were both stellar for dessert.

I had expected something better.

It wasn’t bad but I certainly wasn’t delighted. Here’s my break down… Ambiance: Pretty good overall. A little gaudy, but it definitely improves once it gets dark. Bonus points for the nice view of Lake Washington. Service: Alexei took great care of us. Friendly, helpful, and he picked an excellent cocktail for my wife. Drinks: •Raspberry lemon drop: perfect balance — not too sweet, not too sour. •Old fashioned:
