Kennedy coffee is straight up out of the 90s. Complete with a giant cappuccino cup on the counter for tips, everything is bathed in shades of brown. The lights are dim and natural with shades and curtains keeping the harsh morning light shaded from the patrons eyes. Every seat is comfortable. It doesn’t rely on hostile architecture to get people in and out as fast as possible. The soft round counter and curvy ceiling outcroppings calls for patrons to stay awhile. It’s clean while avoiding sterility and worn without being broken. It’s a place lost in time in a world that moves on too quickly. T
