We’ve been visiting Rivermill for years—with a little break between 2022 and the recent reopening in Fall 2025. I’m so glad our little townie/college bar is back and better than ever. Food: Terrific. Their small kitchen puts out great bar food with homemade effort; they care about the quality. My favorites are the carnitas when they’re available, the Chicken Riverphilly, or the BLT (which I had tonight). My husband is a big fan of the spicy beef tacos that come with great refried beans and the carnitas tacos topped with homemade pickled onions. You also can’t go wrong with the nachos. Servic

To say this place was a disappointment is an understatement. We have heard people rave of the mushroom Swiss sandwich, and it was very mute in flavor. The food wasn’t the worst part tho sadly. The staff why by far a bigger concern. Very rude with a lack of hygiene. We will not be going back and will be making a call to a food inspectior

I really like this restaurant. I got the Philly steak and cheese. The sandwich was delicious and the fries were amazing. The ambience is really fun and I would definitely go here again. The staff was very friendly and the prices are fair. It would be a fun place to watch a game and play pool.

As a 22-year-old senior graduating in just a few weeks, I was honestly taken aback and really disappointed by how I was treated at Rivermill. On Thursday, April 2nd, the bouncer at the door not only bent my real ID in half, but also began yelling and cursing in my face and causing a scene, despite the fact that I was simply and politely asking a question. At no point was I asked for a second form of identification or given the opportunity to verify my legitimate New Jersey license.
