I normally don’t leave negative reviews but I couldn’t believe our last experience with Kanpai. We ordered take out and one of the things we ordered was brussel sprouts as its one of my favorite things on the menu. When I opened it, I realized there were burnt thin pieces of plastic all over the top of the brussel sprouts. Thankfully I noticed and threw it out. This is a horrible food safety issue and hope it never happens to anyone else. Do better Kanpai.

Do NOT go for happy hour. You will be served toddler sized portions. I’ve never seen sushi wrapped so small. Publix has bigger portions! Nice views sitting outside though & good customer service. Again, portions are a joke.

Don’t order carry out here. Warm food was lukewarm and kids tenders had zero flavor. Seemed like food was sitting on counter even though there was zero wait. Oh, and when do we not give chopsticks for sushi?? I guess 15% tip isn’t enough OR… they just are not that good for 4+ stars. Save your money for the easy walk from hotel. On positive note, atmosphere seemed fun.

Happy hour here is so worth it. Everything is so delicious and I generally enjoyed my experience here. Our server was Rachel and she was amazing and very knowledgeable about the menu very kind and I would definitely ask for her. The next time I come.
