Cute place appropriately decorated. We were there for lunch, but I imagine it can get pretty busy at dinner and they recommend reservations. There was plenty of parking out front when we were there. The schnitzel of the sandwich as well as the Hunter schnitzel was crisp without being dry on the inside. The mushroom sauce was good and well prepared. The spatzel authentic. The menu is good with multiple choices and it was hard to decide what to get. We did not order beverages, except for the water which was undrinkable. So if you go there order something that to drink

If you’re looking for authentic German food in the Bradenton area, I highly recommend Restaurant Edelweiss. The food is excellent, the beer selection is great, and the atmosphere has a warm, family-style feel that makes you want to come back. It’s a smaller restaurant, which adds to the charm and creates a cozy, welcoming experience. Between the quality of the food, the friendly service, and the relaxed vibe, this is one of those places that feels both authentic and comfortable. Definitely worth a visit. And Michelle is a fantastic server.

This was our first time stopping into Restaurant Edelweiss and we got the the Hunter Schnitzel and Saurbrautnen. The food was amazing, hot, and so flavorful! The staff was friendly, we didn’t have to wait long even during a busy lunch time, and the prices were super affordable. We cannot wait to return!
