Cheese boat was something my husband and I ate during one of our first dates. But at the place we used to go, it has gone smaller and smaller and more and more expensive over the years, so we’ve stopped going back. It feels very nostalgic and fulfilling to be eating it again. With just bread, cheese, egg, and butter, it’s such a simple combination that gives you such great satisfaction. It was also the first time we discovered that there’s cheese hidden in the bread, too.
