The food was really good. The oysters on the half shell were great, and the red wine vinegar that came with them was incredible. The cocktail sauce was okay, but I don't really like cocktail sauce in the first place, so mileage may vary. The main course was great as it came with prawns, scallops, haddock, grilled oysters, and two sides: fries and cilantro lime rice. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and the rice paired well with the grilled fish. The chocolate cake was also really good. It was really rich, so the vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce were a good complement to the cake.

We ordered crispy calamari and fish and chips with half/half clam chowder/Veracruz fish chowder as a side dish. The half/half clam fish chowder was not on the menu but was recommended by our waitress. Also, we were concerned with previous reviews that the fried fish was too overly batter and fried thus our waitress indicated she will inform the chef to lightly fried the fish. We were not disappointed! The seafoods were fresh and perfect. And they served amazing hot off-the-oven sour dough bread! Our waitress was outstanding and knowledgeable. Everyone in my family enjoyed the fish, but for a fish house I have to say the steak was amazing. It was extremely tender and flavorful. If you're seated outside, it can get chilly around this time of year, but we were ok once the heater was turned on. One point that should be addressed if possible is the bathroom setup. Although clean, the gaps between the sides of the door for the first stall do not provide the privacy you would expect from a bathroom making it uncomfortable for both people using the stall and people waiting for the bathroom.
