This place definitely exceeded our expectations. I'd never heard of it before, we just happened to be walking in the area and decided to stop for lunch. Everything was delicious, especially the brisket -- wow, perfectly juicy with a crispy outer skin. Mac and baked beans were both great sides as well, although bummed they were out of the potato salad (ended getting slaw instead which was just ok). Server was nice, and timing wasn't too bad- about 30 mins from entrance until food was delivered to our table. Would definitely come back again.

Tangy, melts in your mouth & easy to eat. Portions are perfect. We ordered the combo platter (brisket, ribs and 2 sides: collard greens & egg salad) plus the delicious brisket burger. We chose this place because it recently won an award for the best new restaurant- and it lived up to its reputation. Casual and rustic atmosphere. Friendly staff. The best part was the food- best barbecue I’ve had in years! WARNING: melts in your mouth so might think you didn’t get enough so you will contemplate if you should order more & try everything on the menu…. You should😉 Highly recommend.

My friend liked the pulled pork sandwich. I thought the bun was great but the pork is just alright Brisket cook was great but everything was so sweet, the bread, the brisket , the pickles. As a prediabetic I won't be coming here much, but overall not too shabby. Seating outside is a nice option on a good day Bit pricey especially for the drinks

We went to Lawrence Barbecue in Cary for Father's Day. It was our first time, and a great decision. We got there a little before noon and waited about 15-20 minutes for a table. Definitely get there early and plan to wait, as we were being seated I heard the hostess telling parties the wait would be over an hour. It's a very popular spot! The restaurant was great, it's very bright, clean, and everyone working was friendly and energetic. We had the nachos with brisket, hot honey wings and brisket birria tacos. It was all so good!
