Sunshine Cafe is exactly what you hope to find in a neighborhood diner—a welcoming atmosphere, friendly service, generous portions, and an extensive menu with something for everyone. It was busy with locals, which is always a good sign. I ordered the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with fries. The sandwich featured generous slices of roast beef topped with flavorful brown gravy. The fries were the standout—crispy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. Cute old school diner!! Had breakfast. One plate with homefries and one with hash browns. Both are perfect. Omelet was great. The guac on the omlete had a kick (not in a bad way)! The waiter was excellent. Fun place. Will be back.

Clean, popular old style 'hole in the wall' cafe with great breakfast and lunch items with daily specials. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. The price for side items weren't on the menu so I was a little surprised when a side of bacon cost $7.50. But nowadays, everything seems expensive to me. I haven't been here in years but will definitely go back!
