Tru is one of my absolute favorite spots in Chapel Hill. The whole experience is smooth and modern, starting with their online ordering system. Being able to customize every drink, sandwich, or pizza exactly the way I want—and then having it brought right to my table—feels both effortless and personal. The atmosphere is genuinely wonderful: warm, cozy, and perfect for hanging out with friends, but we also did some class meetings with professors here, because the spot is so close to UNC's campus. One of my favorite lunc spots in chapel hill! Delicious sandwiches and salads, the pizzas are a new addition. Everything is build your own which I love - wish they could take Apple Pay tho (they only allow online order but if you want your food to go and a drink there you have to do 2 separate orders). Chocolate chip cookie is underrated from TRU (I am a pastry snob this is one of the only cookies I will buy) I am all for atmospheric lighting, but it's a bit dark even for me. Instead of moody it's just hard to see but outside is better. I wish they put the cushions on the large outdoor chair

Food was good but talk about mailing it in from the restaurants perspective! No menu, you literally will be building your own everything and no waiters either. Good if you’re in the mood to do all the work and choose everything while paying $20+ for one sandwich!
