Solid place to get food! Its kind of in a touristy spot-the heart of Charlestown-so of course I got touristy food-lobster roll and clam chowder. And it was great food. I'm not sure I'd say "this is THE place to get clam chowder and a lobster roll in Boston" but if you go here you'll be super pleased with it! I'm glad I went and would recommend it to all my friends. The staff especially was super friendly! The old timey tavern look is endearing. And the food is great. The food is somewhat expensive but given the location, that makes sense. We passed by this restaurant on the way to Bunker Hill and found a table in the back seat from much of the noise, yet found it decent noisy. The chicken wings were flavorful. The eggs with toast were a nice way to start the climb. The shepherds pie was indeed filling

On our second day in Boston, after roaming around, I wanted to find a nice spot for my cousin’s birthday dinner. I did some research and we decided to try the Warren Tavern since it had great reviews, one of the historical tavern in the US, was open late, and offered both indoor and outdoor seating. The only downside was the parking, it was really tough. As tourists, it wasn’t easy to find a spot. The restaurant staff suggested parking in the residential area, but we were worried about getting in trouble. At one point, someone even asked if we were residents, and of course we weren’t, so we h
