This was our first experience here and the food was delicious. From the granola to the chipotle sauce, blueberry muffins to the burrito, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast! The establishment is spacious and quite lovely. However, our experience with the service wasn’t great. Our order was placed online and upon walking in, we were directed by an employee pointing to show us where to pick up. Not a word was spoken; no pleasantry, no hello, nothing. This coffee shop is very big and a lot of people seem to use it as a coworking space. They even have a room you can reserve with a big conference table. It was busy when we were there, and I wouldn’t consider it peak coffee time- it was a bit later. ) the coffee was good, but the coffee art wasn’t as good as some other places. We didn’t have a pastry as their choices were limited. The line was long and there was only one person working the counter and coffee machine.

Platform Coffee will always be one of my favorite coffee shops in Charlotte. The atmosphere is welcoming, homey, and family friendly. There are always so many smiling faces and the service is always amazing. Definitely the best coffee around, especially if Josiah makes it (request a latte from Josiah and you will not leave disappointed)! Always happy to recommend Platform to visiting family and friends, and anyone wanting to change coffee loyalties.
