I normally don’t review McDonalds because I take my 9yo granddaughter there all the time and let’s face it, they’re more or less all the same, except this one stands out for its staff who treated us like family (I know, it sounds corny, but it’s true.) and secondly, the place is uber clean. The only reason for the four stars on food is due to them not having cherry Slurpees or hot fudge sundaes in stock. Other than that, a great experience.

This particular location is surprising in the quality of food and I don’t mean in a good way. I eat a lot of McDonald’s at a lot of different locations. West haven and Meriden shouldn’t have better food quality than Cheshire and anyone local knows what I mean by that. But they do. This review isn’t based off one bad experience and I’m not just mad or in the moment. As I write this I’m a Cheshire resident who sadly has to drive to east Main Street in Meriden for an edible meal.

The staff are friendly enough but don’t seem to be the best at cooking. They burnt the bun of my mcchicken sandwich to a crisp.

This location has been here for a long time and is conveniently located on my way back from Sleeping Giant State Park. The staff is friendly, and the area is nice. I like this McDonald's location. I'm old school, so I enjoy two cheeseburgers with an order of French fries. I'm partial to the sausage McMuffin with egg and a hash brown as well. Update (9/7/2020); I went through the drive thru this afternoon and ordered a small French fry (hot & delicious) and a cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was not very good at all.
