Irish restaurant attached to Hilton with indoor, bar, and patio sitting areas. Tried the highly-recommended dishes per other reviewers and AI: •Potato leek soup, rich and creamy with potato chunks and crunchy but not overly dry bacon pieces. Scallions and cheddar in the topping too. Paired with a carb resembling a popover in the airy puffedness but also croissant, in the butteriness. Texture has chew but not enough moisture. Earlier photos show Irish soda bread pairing, so apparently changes with the season/times •Bread pudding with caramel sauce, super sweet and satisfying as end of meal

Definitely a huge mistake in ordering the burger. I thought I’d be safe, but it was gross. Side salad was good. Great service. Came back on the day after to update my review. I became violently ill in the middle of the night with horrible painful stomach issues! Positive it is food poisoning! AVOID!

In Chicago for the Restaurant Show decided to give this place a try. Food shows up quickly and it is cold and uneatable. Obviously dropped everything in the fryer when the oil is still cold, so everything is saturated in oil and nasty; asked the bar staff to get it replaced. Second attempt comes back; the fish is reheated, but the fries are still drenched in oil. Is there no kitchen manager to check on the quality of the food before it comes out?? 110%, I will not be back.

Staying at this Hilton hotel I was happy to stop into Kitty O,Sheas. I was greeted promptly by a friendly bartender Margaret. She made great menu suggestions and we loved the fish and chips and pretzel with dips. The next day I stopped down and asked her for ice for my travel cup and she gladly complied. She is truly a gem and the next time we’re in Chicago we will certainly come in to see her! The fact you have Irish staff is awesome! We will tell our friends.
