One of the best restaurants in Claremont. Been going here since I was a kid and it's always been great! Service is always attentive and thoughtful. Dishes are unique and flavorful. Ambiance is chill and cozy. Romantic vibes. My date ordered the paella and I ordered the salmon for our entrees and shared the creme brulee for dessert (torched tableside). We loved it!

Viva Madrid in Claremont is a cozy tapas spot right in the Claremont village with a warm, lively atmosphere and great customer service. I was craving a steak for dinner. I haven't been to this restaurant in about 15 years. Since I was already in the town I decided to go here. I so regret it. I just had the worst rib eye steak of my life! The rib eye was thin and full of fat and grizzle. It was also tasteless and the sauce was too sweet. The green beans were over cooked. The baked potatoe tasted like it was an old potato. It had a lot of fibers inside. Just disappointing and gross. It was painful to pay for it. I will never return to this restaurant again. Service was great! We sat at the bar and got our drinks quickly. Drinks were delicious.We ordered a variety of different tapas. However, one after the other we began to notice the quality and taste was average. We also ordered the paella and it was also disappointing unfortunately. No crust at the bottom but there was a good amount of seafood.
