My wife and I just randomly found this restaurant by chance and this is some of the best food we had on our vacation. We had the fish and chips which were super crispy well seasoned, and the Reuben sandwich which had a ton of meat, red cabbage sourcrout, and amazing 1000 island dressing. The atmosphere was super open and friendly, I wish we had places like this where I am at.

I came here cuz the reviews talked about the food. the place was pretty dead when I walked in with me being only the second customer. the menu was very limited but I ordered a meal and a soda. My soda was poured from a can and was flat. again, very little selection. I ordered a burger and asked for some mustard to go with it. the fries were unusual but I liked them. they're more like slivers of potatoes that have been fried and I actually liked that. The burger, quite tiny, was on a nice bun and was relatively tasty given the fact that it was just meat with cheese on it. I didn't care for the mustard at all. it was some sort of chili mustard and I don't know why.. I just don't know. I didn't care for it. The meal was okay, definitely not filling, so I was taken aback when I learned that it was $23. for $23 I can go have a nice Burger at a burger joint. This was a rundown bar, serving bar food. at gourmet Burger prices. I don't think so.

Still Amazing! The new spring menu is top notch. If you've never eaten something called a Dragon's Egg I highly suggest popping into Alchemy and ordering one. I'm a wee bit Irish and a lot a bit foodie and this place combines Irish and creativity to make a divine menu. I've been many times and sample the menu with my friends and family (small children are welcome when there isn't an event). Haven't left with anything but complete respect for the chef, Jeff, who continuously comes up with outstanding meals. The setting is traditional Irish pub and is very cozy. The staff is small (its a small place) and sometimes when its busy they can be a bit slower on service but just sit back and enjoy the food, beer and conversation. This isn't a rushed lunch sort of place. Don't be afraid to try the menu.
