This coffee shop is my new favorite thing about corpus. They’ve got an excellent variety of beans with all kinds of interesting and funky tasting notes and a friendly staff who is excited to brief you on them. I came for the espresso, and I was pleased by the flavor (well-balanced, fruity) and presentation (served on a tray with palate-cleansing sparkling water). I feel like I teleported to Austin when I walked in the door. Will be back to try the pour-over!

I genuinely enjoy coming in just to be around the people. The coffee is amazing, and while I love a good cold brew, the Mario Brothers (hot) currently has my heart. This is their new location here in Corpus Christi. I decided to try it out since it is close to where my mother works. I got the Iced Mario Bros, which is a mocha latte with vanilla and cinnamon. It is pretty good! The ambiance is pretty modern but also very cozy despite the small size! The service is pretty good and quick, even when it is busy! If you already love Adelphos, this is the perfect place to come by in this side of town. Or a good place if you are new to town or are in the downtown area of Corpus Christi!
