Very cute and aesthetically pleasing bakery. Expect SUPER long lines — people are generally lined up outside >30 min before opening time and it gets worse throughout the morning. I really enjoyed their caprese pastry & everyone in our family loves the strawberry pastry. They have 3 set gluten free options, of which the cinnamon roll & coffee cake muffin were really good according to my Celiac family member. Their tiramisu latte was also great. Overall unique spot for Dayton that is reminiscent of nice city bakeries.

We are incredibly blessed to have an establishment as lovely as Val’s in Dayton. It’s a safe haven from the busyness and bustle of the world outside. Every time I walk through the door, I’m greeted with the aroma of delightfully sweet pastries and hint faint coffee in the air. The atmosphere is as relaxing as the pastries are delicious, with high ceilings, cozy furniture, and lush green plants throughout the space.
