The food had no flavor. Ordered a coffee. When it came out it had that distinct instantly coffee smell. The waiter confirmed it was instant coffee. So changed my beverage to a Topo Chico. The lime that was brought with it was clearly old. The salsa was mostly watery tomato. The chips were ok. Ordered the three tacos that came with rice and beans. The beans tasted like they had been in the fridge or freezer too long and had lost their bean taste. Almost tasted like dehydrated beans that were rehydrated. A pleasant location with a good spread of different Hispanic food options. The service and location (beautiful view) are what really made this place stand out. The staff were respectful and made the effort to be personable. We also caught them at a slow moment so I can't say this is always how it is, but I would reccomend it nonetheless.

Awesome little place with the friendliest staff! Just passed their 86th anniversary- tons of family history with the restaurant. It's a bit out of the way, but completely exceeded our expectations in environment and food. Worth a visit!
