We recently went back to The Office in downtown Delray Beach after not visiting for about a year, and I have to say the experience was much better this time around. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Atlantic Avenue and within walking distance of everything. One of the biggest positives was that while many nearby restaurants had 60-minute waits, we were able to walk right in around 9:30 PM and get seated immediately. First time ordering takeout from The Office Delray and I went with a burger and fries. Everything was ready quickly and still hot by the time I got home, which was a good first impression for a pickup order. The burger was solid—juicy, well put together, and not falling apart during the drive. The fries came out crisp and seasoned well, holding up better than I expected for takeout. I've eaten here quite a few times over the years and love this place. We came for Valentine's Day and the food quality has gone down so much :( the service was *great* as always but my boyfriend's plate looked so sparse and my chicken was super dry and everything unseasoned. His sweet potato fries were so limp and soggy. Also the rice medley looked (and tasted) like it came out of a great value bag in the freezer section at Walmart. :( We went to kapow a cross the street after to get a snack and some drinks.

I came for a solo date and was really excited to try this place. Unfortunately, the food was very bland which was really disappointing. I ordered the chicken tinga tacos and they looked amazing but had no flavor whatsoever. However, the drink was incredible so I gave 3 stars for this. I ordered two because it was that delicious. I could definitely see myself visiting this spot again for the drinks. Overall, I would recommend giving it a try. I saw other reviews that said they had good food so it’s worth a shot.
