Really delicious BBQ spot close to downtown Denton! We tried the brisket and sausage, both were good. Loved that all the plates came with deviled eggs. Side wise we tried the cilantro jalapeño coleslaw (delicious) and the Mac and cheese (good but not great). Love that they had a gluten free menu, which includes most of the food aside from a few sides and the sandwiches. The staff was kind and knowledgeable about cross contamination too which was nice as I am celiac. We will definitely be back to try the loaded baked potatoes!

Walked up to the front door and could smell the smoke from the pits in the back. As I walked in Patsy Cline was playing in the background and the aroma from the smoked meats hit me. This was a great start! At the counter I ordered a half pig plate. This came with ribs, brisket, Mac&cheese, a deviled egg, and Texas toast. Sat down and noticed the inside dining area was small, rustic decor surrounded by plenty of real wood, and had a relaxing view with windows all around. Juicy Pig BBQ was okay overall — not bad, but not great. My wife and I both had the chopped brisket sandwich combo, which came with a sandwich, side, and drink for $14. There were a few BBQ sauce options available: original, spicy, and Carolina Reaper. I tried the original and spicy, and both were good. For my side, I got the mac and cheese. It was warm and cheesy, but it lacked flavor on its own. I ended up adding some spicy sauce and chopped brisket, which helped quite a bit. We were visiting from out of town. I found this place and im so glad I did. They were very kind, patient and understanding. I got 4 piglet plates (kids plates) 2 brisket, chicken, and pork ribs. I told him the pork ribs were an allergy for gluten. He told them to change their gloves and make his plate first just to be safe. I appreciate that so much! I then got a beef rib. It is massive and delicious! The smoked Mac n cheese and green beens are fantastic! If I could put more stars i would. When I come back up to denton, this is a stop i will make every time.
