In 2010 I moved to Jefferson Park, the area where Araujo's is located. For the first two years or so, I walked right past this spot on my grocery runs to the Safeway across the street from them. At the time they had a banner on the outside of their restaurant adverting break burritos for $1.50. I was paying $2 at the Santiago's around the corner from them. Something about that cheaper price, made me question their quality so I just never gave them a try. Fast forward. Santiago's closed for a few months while they renovated their location. So I said what the heck, let me give these folks a try

We dropped off our car rental across the street and decided to pop into this place for a quick bite and it was amazing! Good authentic eats and our server was kind and cool! I feel like this is the local secret spot for people in the area. Thank you! 🌮 🇲🇽

Actually super great! Very friendly staff and a nice cozy, homey feeling. Very versatile menu and a ton of customizations for their signature burrito which is awesome. Also the flautas are great! Nothing was quite out-of-the-park, so it only gets 4 stars. Left full and pleased tho! Keep up the good work.
