My wife and I took our 4 children, ranging from 9y.o to 15 months. There was something for all of us. We started with the short rib poutine which was wonderfully hearty without being greasy. The entrees were a delight. The Mediterranean Salmon was well cooked and paired really well with the hummus and chard, it just needed a squirt of lemon juice or perhaps capers/cured olives to elevate the earthy flavors. Tremendous experience. Jacob is the waiter you always hope to get! Lively, humorous, and attentive. Great flavors and presentation, quality ingredients, and great care were put into our choices. We even had the mixologist concoct a signature cocktail from scratch and it was unbelievable. A black raspberry lemon drop, I think it was... Prices were high, but you really don't mind it a bit when your dining experience is this great. The skirt steak was great and the chocolate molten cake was bad ace! I had a great dining experience at Fresko in Des Moines. I ordered the double bone pork chop, and it was absolutely delicious—juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. We've been here twice now and each time has been wonderful! The food is absolutely delicious and you get what you pay for. We will keep coming back and trying more of the menu. It can be a bit crowded and noisy in some of the areas, so you may want to ask for a quiet spot if that's what you're looking for.
