The supermarket part is absolute best! You can find all of the items/ingredients you'll need to make your authentic Mexican dish. Check out the butcher shop. On the weekends they have fresh carnitas and homemade tortillas. The restaurant in the back is super delicious as well. The serving portion are big for the price.

We’ve been going here for years! It’s since become very popular and our little nook is always crowded but for good reason! They are serving up authentic Mexican food! You can’t go wrong with anything you get here. We got the birria tacos and the Diablo shrimp! A favorite of ours is the Coctel de Camarones, salsa verde enchiladas, chilaquiles & the steak Taquitos!

Here’s a more assertive version of your statement: I just had a very disappointing experience at Supermercado El Torito. I went in to buy vanilla and decided to order some food as well. I walked to the back and stood at the register waiting to place my order. I stood there for about 10 minutes, and not a single employee acknowledged me. El Torino in Dothan, Alabama! Wow! This was an amazing food and shopping experience! 1) very out of my comfort zone but right up my alley in terms of a food adventure! 2) the Tortas are delicious, massive, and I’m pretty sure the waitress was apologetic about the spice level of them to me after she saw my face 😂 but WORTH IT! 3) the pastor and pineapple tacos are to die for!
