I got a ham sandwich here and it was delicious. Just came here for a quick stop before a music festival. There were only two people working when I visited and they could have been more friendly. They weren’t rude but they were aloof and not very welcoming. Not a huge deal, but can be a turnoff to some people. The food was really good though and I would definitely eat here again.

Potbelly is a disappointment. As they try make more money, they cut back on quality. Their Roast Beef Sandwich used to great, stuffed with a generous portions of meat, but now they serve a sad little sandwich with barely anything in it. The Veggie Sandwich was particularly mediocre. That being said, their sandwich bread is really fresh and delicious, and their service is very friendly. Nevertheless, I won’t be returning.

Solid deal on the skinny combo, especially for this touristy area! I enjoyed eating on the second floor looking out at an active and historic DC corner. The building itself is legit historic, too. Unmarked, behind the "to go"shelf and behind a sheet of plexiglass is one of the oldest elevators in the world! Installed by the Otis Company more than a hundred years ago!
