Jea Kim★★★★Comfort Mexican food with generous portions. Don’t make it out to East Boston often, so I’m not especially familiar with the neighborhood’s Mexican food scene. This spot is right by Maverick Station, and parking was relatively painless (rare for East Boston on a weekday if you don’t have a permit). I got the fried green plantain with pork rind and guac, along with the grilled steak plate. The plantain dish looked almost like a pupusa topped with extras. On paper, fried plantain and chicharrón sounded a bit heavy and potentially greasy, and it mostly was. But that little smear of guac added a

It can get a bit noisy from traffic. Location is good as it is close to the train station. There is some street parking nearby.

I loved how the restaurant is covered in artwork in the form of photos, art pieces, etc., it truly gives off comfy vibes. My quesadilla was great and the margarita packed a punch!
