Sidebar was such a great experience! The atmosphere was great (dim lighting), service was awesome (Guillermo recommended the shrimp baja tacos and a wine that would pair well with the porkchop), and we will definitely be back! Oh and they have complimentary valet parking! The restaurant does not have the best location, but liked they have complimentary valet parking. Once you open the door, you're transported to a place that it's not found anywhere else in the Valley. The decor and atmosphere is nice. We reserved a private dining area and it was comfortable. The food was not what l was expecting at all. I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Fettuccine. The pasta was chewy and not spicy, and the shrimp tasted raw. Gladly, the Korean Cucumber cocktail was delicious.

my boyfriend and i came here for our anniversary and it was the best decision ever. our waitress Cassandra is amazing she was so kind and was knowledgeable in her drinks and food, describing the flavors and going based on what we told her we liked. i only like fruity drinks and my boyfriend likes a strong smooth flavor, she recommended a couple and we got them all it was so yummy. for appetizer we got the filet mignon stuffed cups (cannot remember the names of the food very well haha) then for the entree we got the pork chop parmesan and the signature lamb which were both AMAZING and the pork

Absolutely outstanding! Right from the first impression when you walk in, but when you rould the corner into the main dining area and see the backdrop of the bar,bit will wow you. Cassandragave us amazing service. Helping with drink and good suggestions, but also telling us about the history of the building and the restaurant. It was a tip notch experience all around. Bi would highly recommend checking this place out. I know that the next time we visit the RGV we will most definitely have Side Bar at the top of our list.
