Fanny Lee★★★★★We went to L & J while visiting El Paso. They were busy. They said 25 mins wait time, but they called us in 10 mins. We had the Mole Chicken Enchiladas, the Steak Tacos, and Chips, salsa & guacamole. Everything was very good. The mole was perfect. The Steak tacos were tender and very good. The chips and salsa came with 3 different salsa. Kudos to Edgar, our server!! He was awesome, super nice, and professional. Thank you for your hard work L & J and your team.

Even on weekdays, there’s often a wait during lunch hours, but if you’re lucky, you may be able to grab a seat at the bar right away. The complimentary tortilla chips are incredibly good, and the staff keeps them coming. The bartenders also pour a fantastic beer. Be sure to try the Caldo de Res—it’s absolutely worth ordering. As popular as this place is, finding parking can be a bit challenging, especially during peak hours. But once you taste the food, you’ll understand why it’s so busy.

I ordered their Mexican Combination which was amazing for its price. Everything was very flavorful and tasted fresh. Their service was good, prices are very reasonable, and you get complimentary fresh tortilla chips. My coworker ordered burrito and it was great too. A worth it place to check out. Would Recommend. 8/10.

To start, the red salsa was so fantastic I over ate on chips, put what was left over on my flauta plate and bought a jar to take home. The beef flautas were well-stuffed, served with sour cream and guac and the came came with great beans and rice. My friend had the mole cheese enchiladas and she said she was still thinking about the mole on our drive back to Albuquerque.
