Trust your server! My friend and I had no idea what we wanted to eat so we gave the server these parameters: curry with beef, something mostly vegetables but without curry, soup. You can tell from the pictures that everything was pleasing to the eye, but the bad thing is that I lost my receipt so I can't list the names of the dishes, but everything was so flavorful and each dish was distinct so we were so glad to have trusted our server and for a fun experience, you might want to do the same. We loved the clean, quiet, well decorated atmosphere with lovely Thai art and a fun pic of Guy Fieri's

I see why the Wild Thaiger has been open all these years and I am sad that I passed it by so long ago. I am happy to say that I did not pass it by this time and met a few friends there for lunch last week. I got there before them and was warmly greeted by a server who helped push the tables together for our party of five. After checking out the menu I decided to get one of their cold sakes. It was lemon flavored, but nog too sweet. Once my friends arrived we decided to get a few appetizers, my favorite waa the chicken wraps that came with this amazing peanut sauce! This spot had great food, and I landed up eating there two of the four days I was in town. I really enjoyed the Tom Ka Gai served in a large metal bowl with a a Bunsen burner to keep it hot. The papaya salad was good too, citrus and spice forward, but nicely balanced. The 24k Green Curry was a little sweet but I added extra fish sauce which made it very tasty. The mahi mahi was grilled perfectly. My ginger martini was great in concept, but I didn’t enjoy it. However, I requested ginger beer and converted it into a delicious Moscow mule. Five stars for sure, and I would definitely go back.

Very disappointed in the food at The Wild Thaiger! Whenever I visit a new place, I check to see if there’s any restaurants that were featured on Diners Drive-ins & Dives. I was excited to find this Thai restaurant within walking distance from where I was staying. I went with a friend who was also visiting Phoenix. I ordered the pork dish from Guy’s show and it was mediocre. My friend got a chicken and eggplant dish. Her chicken was so dry that it was inedible, so she sent it back. And she is one of the most easygoing people I know! They came back with chicken legs that were thoroughly cooked
