My wife and I went here for our anniversary. You will have to make a reservation, but it is worth the wait. The lighting and atmosphere inside the restaurant was very inviting and intimate, great for a date night, or special occasion. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait long for service. And even after we ordered our drinks and appetizer, the server stopped by regularly to see if we needed anything. The service was excellent! Waitress is very friendly. I would say this was one of my top choices for excellent clam chowder from the places I’ve tried in the past. There’s two sides to this restaurant and I stayed in the nicer upscale side. Excellent presentation portions are small but a great place to come and celebrate an occasion.

What a night! On vacation in Eureka, we asked a local at the dog park for a dining recommendation. Our server was Jake, and he performed quite well. Old Town Eureka was prepped for the Christmas walk, parking was free, and it was unseasonably warm. Polenta crostini. Arancini stuffed with butternut squash risotto. Brussels sprouts. Wood-fired hen with fingerling potatoes. Grilled steelhead with lobster risotto. Chocolate torte with s’mores topping. My lady enjoyed the prosecco, and I the Lagunitas IPN/A.

AMAZING food!! Steak tataki could have been a bit rare-er in my opinion but the steelhead was absolutely divine! And the steak tataki was still AMAZING!
