Made a reservation for a specific time to allow time to eat before seeing a show at the nearby theater. They told us there was no reservation & only after waiting and waiting to be accommodated, were eventually told they see the reservation was made but were too busy to make note of it! When we were finally offered a tabel it would only comfortably fit 4 and we were a group of 6. We ended up having to eat at the bar and barely made it to our show after a stressful and rushed meal despite planning ahead by making a reservation. Very disappointing experience. Great place for Mexican food. The salsa that comes in with the nacho chips is amazing. Perfect heat. The horchata is the best I have had in years. ( not to sweet) Food really good. Service is great and you feel very welcome.

Very pleasant place with good food. I recently had one of the lunch specials: $8.95 for a ground beef enchilada with salsa verde, refried beans and rice, and a soft drink. It was tasty if not outstandingly memorable. Ditto the free salsa and chips served before the meal came. It's a heck of a deal for the money, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Five stars for them. I liked the sensible portion size. I didn't walk away feeling bloated or carrying a doggie bag. The place could use a refresh, meaning it looks a bit tired inside. We ordered food for takeout and the items we got were delicious. Our only complaint is that the aguachiles were prepared with the shrimp tails, making it hard to eat, so we had to de-tail them. Last time we purchased aguachiles from this location, they came prepared without them.
