If you’re looking for the absolute peak of Mexican cuisine in Tacoma, look no further. Honestly, a part of me wants to selfishly gatekeep this "hidden" gem just to keep the lines short, but I feel a dutiful obligation to spread the word so that others may also be blessed by the taco Gods. Ordered through Door Dash. Absolutely the best food and so much of it! Everything was neatly packaged and separated into hot and cold so it stayed hot or cold. There were lots of utensils and condiments, and napkins. You can tell they care. I've eaten at the Kent location and enjoyed it, but the Tacoma location is like a 10 star! They even paid attention to my no gluten or dairy special order!!!

I'd give this place 10+ stars if I could! Extra stars-clean bathrooms & no code or needing to be buzzed in required. - no peas in the rice - cooks were singing in the back so they're obviously passionate and love what they're doing Service was fast, friendly and the food was amazing & good portion. The salsa was amazing! Which they have a salsa bar you can serve yourself extra points for that also. Small, quant little place not to noisy inside thankfully. So glad I found it while visiting town. I'll be back next time! Thanks for an amazing dinner to finish off a long day!

El Sabor is the best. Hands down. The birria is off the wall tender and tasty. Taco happy hour can't be beat. Salsa bar stuns. This is the best that taquerias come my friends. The most friendly folks, the most spot on food, we never drive past Tacoma without stopping. We miss living near Shoreline for the easy stop, but the Tacoma location hits just right. We love y'all El Sabor.
