Josephine’s is a must eat at in Flagstaff. The food is just so delicious. Most things are made in house like the biscuits and the amazing jam. You have to try to jam if you go for brunch. Weekend brunch is so good. There is a large patio if the weather is nice. And they have happy hour specials out there during the week. Service was good. I was a little surprised by how loud the music was when we walked in but it did not end up affecting the meal. The atmosphere is nice. Feels like you are eating in someone’s house. Side of bacon was $5.50. Felt a little expensive but it was delicious

For Flagstaff this is one of the best places. We started with the Korean beef lettuce wraps. That was fantastic and 5 stars. Then we had surf and turf which was a 3 and the short ribs which was a 4. Not bad at all and reasonably priced. For dessert we had the Zepolies and those were great. Not too sweet but perfect. I give it a solid 4 stars which is a solid rating.

The restaurant itself is very nice and the service was excellent. My filet was cooked a perfect mid rare and my wife said her risotto and short ribs were also cooked well. I have to point out that the asparagus was bland with no seasoning and the carrots were uncooked and also bland. All of the veggies on the plate were underwhelming. The potatoes I got with my steak were lukewarm at best. Just a lot of food that wasn’t seasoned and served at good temperatures. Also, my molten lava cake dessert was more warm than hot. I normally am not this picky but when I drop 200 dollars on a meal I expect

It’s easy to understand why Josephine’s is so highly rated. The menu offers a creative blend of flavors — we enjoyed the baklava baked Brie, butternut squash bisque, Mexican chicken cordon bleu, and sweet potato gnocchi. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of depth, with just a hint of spice to keep things interesting.
