Food was decent. I can recommend the pupusas and sopes, but hard shell tacos...not so much. Staff was nice, but communication was confusing at times. Ingredients that were quoted didn't end up on the items. Also, they have more meat listed on their menu than was available (no marinated pork and no shredded beef). For being on the North Highlands/Sacramento border it's got a nice atmosphere and reasonably priced food.

My wife is from El Salvador and I have been to El Salvador many times. This is the most authentic Salvadoran food you ever try. The pupusas are large and very tasty. I recommend to try it and then tell me how you feel. I had 4 pupusas tonight and I couldn’t stop eating. Thank you.

PLASTIC IN FOOD!! I had ordered cauldo to go. The lids melted. I called they said bring it back we will replace it. I just ate it at the restaurant since I didn't have to go. Plastic was on the spoon the just reheated the same plastic soup!!

It is 5am on a Saturday morning as Im writing this, and I have had diarrhea for two days straight and my bf has had a severe headache and anxiety from the food here. We got the pupusas, a shrimp burrito and carne asada fries. We eat food like this often and have pretty strong stomachs so this was a shocker for both of us. The service and atmosphere is great. I’m so sorry I had to write this.
