My husband and I went for a lunch date. I saw a rave review a few years ago and always wanted to go, so this was my chance. It’s a little confusing when you first walk in — you’re not sure if you order at the register or wait to be seated. When we asked the cashier, she told us to sit down and they would serve us. Easy enough, but the service was slow. It took forever to get our order taken and even longer to pay at the end. I was underwhelmed by the interior, honestly. There’s local artwork and it looks modern, but the walls are filthy. It doesn’t seem like they maintain the front of house. W

If you’re in the Bronx and love Vietnamese food, you are in for a treat. This place is easily one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in New York. The pho is so flavorful and filling especially with the beef and pickled vegetables. The rice and pork with fresh vegetables is so good. The rice goes so well with the crunchy vegetables and the grilled pork chop. Overall, this place is so good.

Delicious vegan pho! They sometimes overdo it with the vegetables but I’m not complaining. The Vietnamese Coffee is deliciousssss and I definitely recommend. My friends loved the seafood pho and the combination tripe one too. Sometimes it can be super full and others you’ll get a table easily, I think it just depends! The service is timely for the most part and since it was not that full they were accommodating of our group of 6. Happy to have a place like this in the Bronx!

Note- Rating is for the area. If this were, let's say, the East Village or closer to Chinatown, I'd drop it down a star. I was at this Vietnamese restaurant with three others a while back. The inside is casual, and the service was friendly. I thought about getting one of their drinks, but unfortunately, they couldn't make it that day. For food, we split a bunch of small plates, and people ordered their main dishes separately afterwards. Our first appetizer was the Dau (or Tau) Hu Ky/Dậu Hủ Ky/Crispy Shrimp Dumpling for $11.95, which consisted of seasoned and grounded shrimp, crisp tofu skin
