You may want to be extra careful with how milk is stored during the summer. I recently ordered a matcha latte with oat milk, and the oat milk in my drink had clearly gone bad, like REALLY BAD it tasted very acidic, almost like yogurt. When I brought it up and asked for a remake, I felt like my concern wasn’t taken seriously. However, the second drink was made with a new carton of oat milk and tasted completely normal, which confirmed that the oat milk used in the first drink had likely spoiled. Please pay close attention to milk storage and temperature control, especially during warmer month

I was at maiko just now and this will be my last visit because of what I experienced today with the workers. I ordered a black sesame latte and made it a float with soft serve. From the first sip I could tell the milk was spoiled. I confirmed I wasn’t wrong after my husband tried it too and he almost threw up. We told the staff and I don’t even remember getting an apology for being served an inedible drink. They said we could switch to something else so I asked for just ice cream instead. Incredible soft serve, absolutely horrible strawberry matcha lattes. I think they literally forgot to add the milk. I asked the woman if they forgot to add milk and she denied and said that their matcha is just watery like that. Me and my Fiance travel all over the place getting strawberry matchas and we have never had one that looks like matcha water with some strawberry jam like this one. I cannot recommend this location unfortunately as the staff did not even try to make it right. She didn't even want to look at our drinks or fix them in any way. $44 for two sundaes and two matchas.
