My first time visiting the infamous Anchor Bar in Frisco, and it brought back so many memories! I used to hit up the original location in Buffalo when I was younger, so walking in felt super nostalgic. Thrilled to finally have a spot like this in the Dallas area; no more long trips for that classic wing fix. I ordered the Garlic Parmesan, Mango Habanero, and traditional Hot wings. All three were spot-on: crispy, juicy, and sauced perfectly. Had another amazing experience at Anchor Bar thanks to SYDNEY! She was incredibly attentive, thorough, and made sure everything came out exactly as ordered. She was super sweet, bubbly, fast, and checked on us throughout the entire visit without ever being overbearing. The drinks were amazing, the food was just as good, and everything came out fresh and quick. This has easily become one of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood and we’re definitely regulars at this point. Great atmosphere, great food, and even better service. We’ll absolutely be back asking for Sydney again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I really like this place. I think the food is good but I do have a couple issues. Both times I've been there my mixed drinks tasted like kool-aid. My wife and I agree that we couldn't even tell there was alcohol in them. We've had better drinks at a Mexican restaurant. Second, it has taken what feels like a lifetime to get our food. The last time we were actually asking for our check and going to leave when the food showed up. Like I said, the food is good but they need to get better on serving quality drinks for what they cost and more acceptable time for receiving your food.
