EXPERIENCE 1*** (Positive) 07/21/25 My Mom brought me here. This is a place she likes to visit on occasion. Besides Ramen they also have Yakisoba, Rice Dishes, and a few Side Dishes. Mom and I decided to share the Kanitami Chahan and a Side Order of Gyoza. This is a very casual eatery. And, service here is very friendly and easy going. When our food arrived it was picture perfect. The Kanitama Chahan, which is fried rice layered with a crab omelet covered in sauce, was delicious. And, the Gyoza was a delicate bite, lightly browned and crisp, the filling was light, moist and extremely tasty.

My absolute favorite Japanese-Chinese restaurant in town! Umemura truly feels like “町中華” — a warm, family-run neighborhood Chinese restaurant just like in Japan. I haven't been here for a long time, but I am definitely gonna be back very soon. Their Kanitama fried rice is so good, and Umani Yakisoba was also delicious. We didn't have to wait too long for a table, and the food came out pretty fast after we ordered it. Service is wonderful and the food is amazing, so I will be back soon. The Gyoza is also yummy, and I would recommend this place for your next lunch or dinner.
