It was Valentine’s Day. They are inside a rest stop, so there were a lot of cute and cultural gifts to buy someone on their special day, even several by local artists, while waiting for a table. We used one of two massage chairs during our wait. The bathrooms were good. The restaurant itself is absolutely adorable, with bear decorations everywhere. Each plate came with a lot of food, and the food was really good. However, they forgot my sausages, but that’s OK. They were so busy that day. The place was packed. I highly recommend going!

Went there for an anniversary with my girlfriend and I dont believe we could have picked a better place to go. Tarra, our waitress was very nice and even recommended us what to order as it was our first time there. My Girlfriend couldn't stop talking about how much she loved the place and how nice Tarra was to us. Will be going again.

I was dining solo and didn’t bring reading glasses. Could not read the menu which is a newspaper with faded fonts. Waitress was very short with me when I asked a question "So you need more time?" It took her to long to come to my table so I just pointed to something under hamburgers. She never returned. Someone else delivered it to me and I was shocked how big it was. Apparently, I ordered the largest thing on the menu. I've ate at other Big Bear locations so knew the meat tasted off. After a few bites I pushed it aside. Had to ask a different waitress for my ticket then other waitress appear

I've gone to the Black Bear Diner on and off for the last 8-10 years. It's my favorite place for pancakes and omelets. The rest of the food is good and served in generous proportions. You should try to miss the 10:00-12:00 window, which is their busiest time.
