This is a Jersey classic! If you’re the type of person that loves throwback vintage Italian restaurants, this is for you. The pizza score might get you there, but there is so much more to this place. The pizza is superb thinny thin crust, but the rest of the menu is delicious as well. Grab some wings and some fried calimari for starters along with a fresh salad with homemade Italian dressing.

First time trying Lido. Regret doing so. Hands down the most disgusting pizza I’ve ever had. There is thin crust and then this. It’s like a flour tortilla, saturated with sauce and was ice cold. The bottom of the pizza is doused in flour and all you taste is flour and sauce. Can’t even taste the cheese. Ordered the pie with onions and it came with NO ONIONS. Tried one slice and we’re forced to throw out the rest. Sampler of mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders and onion rings is plentiful but you can’t eat the onion rings because they are so greasy and chewy, they make you want to puke.

I really had high hopes for this place. We walked in and thought it was pretty cool. I love old school vibes. My wife commented how the dust had probably been there for 50 years. I said, that means the food is good, because no one cares about the dust. Well, I was wrong. The calamari was probably the best thing we got, but it was a bit salty. Longtime customer at Lidos. They elevated from chicken parm patty to delicious chicken parm chicken with plenty of spaghetti. The plate was huge and I could not finish. Worth the $24.99! My friend had the Lido staple Double Slice steak. We sat at bar and noticed a cocktail menu with exotic drinks. The bartender Maggie was spectacular. Having worked in the bar business I was quite impressed! She made every drink for the bar and tables perfectly. It was non stop!
