Nice large bar area and great restaurant for gatherings. I sat at the bar and the bartenders i had were great. The drinks were tasty and they were pretty attentive. I came in for happy hour and the happy hour specials were really good, which is a plus. For food selection we had the catfish nuggets, jalapeño poppers, the wings, and brussels sprouts. If you’re a blue cheese lover, the blue cheese was not good. Out of all the apps that we tried the catfish nuggets were the best. 3/15/2026 - I only ordered mashed potatoes. $11 They were good. They didn't taste like imitation potatoes or boxed. Were they fresh? I have no clue. The Avenue Kitchen & Bar staff were very accommodating even management. I will definitely return for a full meal just because of their staff. I felt so welcomed. NOTE: That the establishment feels like a night club. It's very dark and gloomy. Thank you for being GREAT!

Quality of food & service has significantly declined. Haven't been here in years but decided to drive an hour to have dinner for my anniversary & we were so disappointed that we sent back the main course and decided to go to Five Guys instead. The presentation was poor and the food was just not good. I brought home the appetizers in hopes of warming them up to my liking. The crab dip and tortilla chip pairing was terrible. I came here for an event, and it was live! 🎉 The energy was great. Parking 🅿️ was definitely a challenge — I had to park around the corner on a residential street. The venue itself was clean and nicely decorated. I ordered the Chicken 🐔 Quesadilla, which was tasty. I did have to wait at the bar for a while as it was being prepared. I wish it had been cut into slices and served with more sour cream. Overall, it was a pretty good experience!
