I reviewed here during the summer (5 stars) and just came back again! I live out of state, and I came to visit my sister. And this place?? I HAD to come back! The three of us ordered brisket plates, combo plate, banana pudding, and the fried chicken. The presentation: amazing. The flavor: outstanding. Overall: 10/10!! This place might have a modest look, but the quality and flavor of their food is the priority. Such a fabulous local eatery. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Can’t wait to come back! This place has the best BBQ. Not to mention all the sides that are available. The brisket is so tender and flavorful. The sides reminded me of my grandmas cooking. The yams and collard greens were top notch. The service was amazing so friendly and helpful and the cook should receive some kind of award for that brisket. If you haven’t tried it you are missing out. I will definitely be back to eat here. I will also be talking about how good it was for days.

To begin, I don’t do too many reviews unless I am disappointed with a business. Well this one is different. It’s been a long time since I’ve ordered food that I was completely satisfied with. We ordered the bbq combo and a fish plate. Both of them were excellent. I’m very particular about bbq because I’m from Texas. The ribs and brisket were flavorful and tender. The fish was very good as well . The potato salad and greens were delicious as well. The cook also remembered presentation of food also important.
