I had a taste for grits and eggs, so I headed to IHOP on Parris Ave in High Point and they did not disappoint! The food was good, but what I saw on commitment and service made my visit outstanding. Clearly they were understaffed. The line manager was pulling double duty from behind the prep wall. He courteously greeted me and said he’d be right with me. He came right out and seated me at a spotless table. The waitress came quickly and took my drink order. She was the only waitstaff on the floor. She was poised, calm, friendly and very sweet. Emilio was 1000% amazing! Best service we have EVER had at a restaurant! The cook in the kitchen was unbelievable! His pancakes are the ARCHETYPE of what pancakes should be! Give them BOTH a huge raise! ☺️. From 2 VERY happy customers who will be back for another poblano omelette.
