The food was good enough, a little basic without the quantity touch. Our tomyum soup was missing meat stock, just a little sour and spicy and not much else. The spring roll was all vegetable without even a tag of protein to round out the flavors. Our padtai was too sweet and again without any depth of flavor. Wish I like the food better. The waitress was super nice and friendly.

UPDATE: I got horribly sick last night, stomach sick! Still not feeling well. "Dear" Thai Garden" hope you are feeling proud of what you caused!!? How do you sleep at night?? HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Things changed. I visited about 3 years ago and was happy. This time I asked for zero spice. The front desk assured me the house soup was completely mild. Got home — it was spicy. I called, they offered a replacement. Drove back, waited, got a “new” soup. Got home again… SAME soup, means they gave me again what I brought back! Same content, same container, same marks on the nside of the container!

We ordered the chicken Pad Thai; it was pretty lack luster. Mostly all noodles and a very sweet sauce with a couple chunks of chicken. We were hoping for something with a more dynamic flavor. Some vegetables to break it up would have added to the quality; there might have been some bean sprouts and a couple bits of green onion, but that was about it. We ordered online and picked up; the lobby had a really dirty unkempt fish tank in it…kind of ruined the vibe.

A nice find of a Thai restaurant here in NW Chicago suburbs. Plenty of parking and we were seated quickly on a Friday night. Ambiance typical of Thai restaurants with lots of wood and the ever present bar. Quick and polite service. Ordered a sampler appetizer, pad Thai and a couple of Thai desserts. See pics for more descriptions. All excellent and highly recommended. Overall, I’ll be back to try their other Thai fare.
