This establishment is good to visit if you just want to get some wings and beers. I have not been in one of these restaurants in over 15 years and the decor has stayed the same along with the majority of the menu. Pretty much this place is a more laid back Buffalo Wild wings. The food is okay but they seem to charge a little over per plate in my opinion. I ordered the Buffalo wrap with Carolina gold sauce with French fries, accompanied with a large bud light.

Where to start. Waitress was wonderful. It all went down hill from there. We use to eat here once maybe twice a week. Then it started to be so inconsistent with the food so we stopped coming. Last night my wife really wanted to go see if it was better because we use to really like to eat there. Food was about as bad as it gets. I ordered a bowl of soup and the Brussels sprouts you know the wonderful ones with the glaze like I have many times at this location and at least five other locations but I haven’t seen so none inviting. I ordered a bowl of soup instead of a cup because I wanted more. I

Hickory Tavern has a great selection of food to choose from and everything is delicious. The wait staff is always friendly and welcoming. We took our young grandkids to dinner a few nights ago and had a wonderful waitress London. She was such a delight with the kids and they loved her. Highly recommend Hickory tavern. It's a great family atmosphere.
