If you're looking for a laid-back neighborhood pub in downtown Indianapolis, Mass Avenue Pub on Mass Ave is a solid pick. We visited on a Friday night and the staff made the experience — our waitress was extremely friendly, gave us great recommendations, and made sure we always had what we needed. We followed her suggestions and they did not disappoint: the fish plate and the wings were both delicious. The draft beer selection was great too, with plenty to choose from. Just happened to be downtown Indy and we needed to grab a quick lunch. I was told they make the Breaded Pork Tenderlion in house. Sounds good to me. Happy to see it was a reasonable size when served. (I requested no bun.) I found it flavorful and crispy. Friend had the chef salad. Next time I'll research the reviews to find a high rated location. Overall this very good and was more than enough for me.
