Interesting establishment. Italian cuisine, very decent and original especially to specific regions in Italy. An extensive list of wines and cocktails! The atmosphere is dated, which probably influences the great number of long time customers from the area. The clams and linguine were pretty good but the linguine was not drained enough so there was a lot of water on the dish. I just had the broasted chicken, the green beans were fantastic! I love Villa D' Carlo's pizza. I dont often get to visit, but when I can I look forward to it. My last visit was with my kids and I. We were seated in a great space, but the service was terrible. The food wasn't much better. The pizza was hardly cooked and we were not highly tended to. We were watching them serve everyone else great around us, but completely neglecting our needs. Nobody asked how the food was or I would've mentioned it. Asked for some boxes at the end and they took way too long for there being maybe 5 people left in house, especially with kids who were READY to go.

This was a great little pizza / Italian restaurant. Good food, good service and comfy atmosphere. The only reason I brought it to 4 stars is the prices were a a little too high for a small Wisconsin town. Knowing full well the ingredients for simple pasta dishes on the menu, the prices took me back a bit. Good time and nice place, just feel its a little too pricey for a pizza place.
