The flavor of this food is top notch! Upon walking in we were greeted and said we can choose where to sit. Lots of items to select from the menu. Loved that they had a whole section of vegan foods. I had the pollo asado bowl and it was amazingly fresh and tasted really good. The whole family enjoyed the food. My husband had the tacos and the tortillas are made there. Same for the chips we had. I've visited this gem of a restaurant twice. On my first visit, I had the caldo de res, it's served with large chunks of tender beef and various vegetables....it tastes just like the one your mom or abuelita would make. My friend had the enchiladas and they were so hearty and delicious. On my second visit, I had the carnitas plate....another winner, served with rice, beans and homemade tortillas!! Wow! This this is your restaurant to have a good Mexican meal when going to the Wiltern or nearby. Definitely try the ceviche and guacamole & chips for your appetizer. The chips are made fresh for you, no store bot here. So is the ceviche and guacamole. Don’t fill up on the apps and save room for the entrees. We loved Buena Comida Mexicana! We had chips & guac, nachos with pollo asada and an al pastor taco and all of them were so fresh. The guac was some of the best I've had with just a little kick and came with warm tortilla chips which everyone knows warm chips are superior. The nachos were huge and we particularly enjoyed what I believe was a chipotle crema and it really elevated it. Honestly, we will definitely be back!
