On Cherokee Ave. in Leavenworth KS. Our server was Maddy, she was friendly and efficient. What we ordered: 1.) Biscuits and Gravy $8.25 My hubby said it was tasty, gravy was thick and hash browns were cooked right. 2.) Cold Meatloaf Sandwich $8.95 I wish the bun was toasted and the meatloaf could have been cooked a bit more.

I’ve eaten here numerous times and always had extremely quick and courteous service and very delicious food. Chicken fried steak, liver and onions, ground sirloin patty with mashed potatoes and grilled onion and mushrooms, and Reuben sandwiches. Every entree is delicious and service is spectacular. Food and service are consistently excellent and they serve large portions with soup or salad, hot rolls, and even have rye toast! Thanks so much for the consistent excellence. No other local restaurant even comes close!

We stopped for lunch after it was recommended by a family member. Food was good but not the service. We got our food and bill at the same time and didn't see our waitress again until we were leaving. Had to ask the cashier for some refills because we were forgotten by our waitress. It was after the lunch rush so there really was no excuse for that. Also getting the bill before we even started eating made it feel rushed and not wanting our business for next time.
